Welcome

Welcome to Betty J Smith dot com!

We hope that you will enjoy passing along recipes with each other using this site as much as we look forward to trying out new recipes.  See a recipe you like that you’d like to add to your old paper collection, simply hit the print button on the recipe. For those of you that rather work at saving a tree, just bookmark the site :)  We’re here to stay now!

Our hope is that you will contribute to the site to keep the love, laughs and sweet tooth’s alive within each and everyone of us along with share with the countless other people on the world wide web who maybe missing their Grandma’s recipes too!  Feel free to share this site with your friends and in-law’s!

Have a recipe you’d like to share of Grandma Betty’s or even one of your own?  Do not delay, send an email today!  Please remember when submitting a recipe, to include the recipe owner and even a photo!!

As of today, 26Dec 2011, this site contains all of the handwritten, mostly humorous recipes by Grandma Betty or someone she met in passing at places like Farmer Jack!  Boy that takes us back a few years,  huh?

See something that does not make sense or is spelled incorrectly?  That means we too did not understand or thought it was too humorous to leave out of the recipe.  If you are so inclined to figure out by trying the recipe yourself, shoot an email and we’ll update the recipe with your tips/tricks or oven temperature.  If you are interested in one of the MANY cut out and glued recipes that were placed into Grandma Betty’s “spiral bound book” (from magazines and news papers), please let us know and we will work to add those to the collection.

Keep in mind, what you comment on WILL BE published immediately and will be available for everyone to see :)
